Above are images showing, in part, the development of a continuing draft narrative - begun in April ‘25 - where local, fleeting reality-based observations are morphed into surreal vignettes, which are subsequently woven into a contemporary folktale style, poetic narrative of quarters.

Part I - the first quarter - tells the story of the Blue Moon who rises and falls, haunted by shadows and hunted by an angel. While in Part II - the second quarter - we meet the enigmatic Medway King, and the Moon Spider - who weaves a golden-threaded web that ultimately leads to her unexpected transformation…And as for the third quarter, Part III?…Well that is in the process of being written as we speak…

Above are a small selection of AI images generated from the original ‘PART I - The Blue Moon’ poems, These images will be used as a basis for illustrations. A golden threaded script will run through the illustrations, along with sections of Medway scenes.
